The device running the Movere console should be connected to the relevant cloud environment for scanning to work. When you scan devices in public clouds such as AWS and GCP you use the same requirements, processes, and procedures as any other device scanning. If Movere has access permissions to scan SQL data, it can collect additional information about SQL itself and other Microsoft products that leverage SQL as underlying database such as Sharepoint, System Center, Exchange.
