After reading around the internet I tried a suggested solution to rollback to the previous BIOS by holding the windows key + B and the power button thing, which did NOT work for me.
HP prompted me to update my BIOS and after I did my thunderbolt port wouldn't work, at first I thought it was my charging dock that went bad. SOLVED!! I have HP Spectre x360 laptop brand new, 3 weeks old.
